And we saw Vlad Guerrero Jr.

bat leadoff for the second time in his career on Tuesday.

So that was an interesting switch.

And more broadly, it connects to the struggles for Vlad Jr.

and for George Springer.

So...

I wanted to make sure on this episode that we got the chance to just hear your thoughts on Vlad Jr., on George Springer, on what's happening at the top of the Blue Jays batting order.

Yeah, I think it's interesting.

I'll admit, like when Vlad Jr.

said a few weeks ago that he was open to hitting leadoff, I honestly thought he was kind of joking.

Because at that point, it was a pretty big deal even a few weeks ago when he moved from the three spot, which has historically been his most productive spot, his most comfortable spot, into the two spot.

And he said at that time, hey, I'll hit leadoff if they want.

Turns out he was serious.

He was willing to hit leadoff.

And clearly the Jays want to get George Springer going.

It's going to be, we'll see what that looks like.

Their best lineup obviously includes a healthy George Springer.

And George Springer is one of the best leadoff hitters of all time with 65 leadoff home runs.

And he's clearly thrived in that role as recently as like

eight months ago.
