And it's like, it is I feel like it's a it's a microcosm of the attachment.
Like if you're
if you're, I mean, I know baseball is transitory and you get traded, but if you can feel good in your relationship with your teammates and, and the coach and the manager, uh, there's going to be less pressure and you're going to be able to play, you know, as well as you can.
But if those pressures are there, then it's just, you know, it can, it can come compound.
So, um, and I mean, when you're talking about it too, it's like, ultimately,
Yeah, you're going to have to perform.
You can only stay at a certain level for so long with a .98 batting average, right?
So that's clearly a part of the game too.
But why add more stress if you don't have to?
Yeah, so...
It's funny.
My wife just sent me this list that holds true for us.
It's like the things that are really important in adulthood.
And it was being able to wake up without an alarm clock, um, you know, feeling free, getting to know yourself.
And so for us, it's really getting to know ourselves.
And she helped me so much.
Um,
Because she was a therapist when I met her.
I was a university professor of English.
And just by knowing her and not only listening to her day, but she laid out what she needed and wanted in a relationship.
