Indeed.
No, absolutely.
And the world is full of it and it evolves all the time.
And so, you know, one of the joys is like keeping track and realizing that, you know, you, nothing stands still.
The language is constantly evolving and the internet is the great evolution machine because technology,
It's constant slang, constant memes, constant new ideas.
And just like, you know, it's like playing tennis against a hailstorm.
Yeah.
And technology is the great driver of neologism.
So technology means, you know, you constantly have to, you know, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth.
I mean, you need words to describe new technologies.
And that's kind of the joy.
And what's fascinating is to see what sticks and what doesn't stick.
I don't know.
I mean, I'd like to be the guy who gets a dollar for every time someone on TV says, could we have the room?
And everyone else leaves.
Whoever said that, that strikes me as something entirely made up by scriptwriters.
Has anyone in real life ever said, could we have the room?
Absolutely.
So what, one of my favorite terms in the book is from the language of bartenders.
