Like I said in my talk yesterday, I remember when Slate went away and I moved to the Slater CLI.
And like, you know, Nick Savitas had this VS Code plugin.
And Dave Warrington, I just saw him walk by, had this thing for settings.
Like, you know, there were all these different things in the community.
But, you know, what you really want to do is like fix it at the source, at the right layer, right?
And so that's, I think Shopify is probably the only thing in the world where you have access to not only like the runtime with...
with Liquid and our storefront renderer to the application layer, to the editor itself, to the final output.
And then, of course, the ultimate move is you just go upstream into Chrome and WebKit, where we have people on our team that are on those teams too.
But they're awesome teams to work with, and they're super collaborative.
We did.
I mean, we got things like link rel prefetch, which was the thing that was like a platform native way for preloading shipped to WebKit.
But then like they only wanted on same domain.
But like, you know, we were able to work with them on that.
That's amazing because we got like every store in the whole Internet faster on iOS with zero lines of JavaScript.
Right.
And we got we also got like speculation rules shipped to Safari that got also like, you
amazing preloading and pre-rendering for every store in the world.
And that's the thing that I love about Liquid is like, you could just love pottery, don't know anything about the web, you make some beautiful site, you ship it 20 years ago, and then 20 years later, it's actually better.
You know, like where on the web do you ship something and actually improves over time?
It only ever degrades.
