And so like that bracket bracket one plus one would actually just turn into a bracket bracket one.
And then we would leave these comments in your code in the liquid in the bottom to say, hey, this thing happened and here's what we changed it to.
And if for some reason you still want that, like you can put it back, but no, it's going to do something different now.
So we had to do that rewriter and then we roll out this parser and then we migrate all the themes over.
And now we live in this world where we actually know how liquid's going to work.
And so we can start to, we're on block now to be able to have Boolean expressions and, you know, infix operators and which are like the parentheses and all the plus signs and minus signs and stuff like that.
So you can do math.
We can have arrays.
We can have hashes.
We can like, you know, whatever you, whatever warts of liquid that are like the most obvious things, we can fix those.
Now, the things we won't do are the things that like are, feel like a programming language or feel like you have to be a programmer to know how to write liquid optimally.
Um, that's not what we want to do.
So, so there's like a bit of a balance there with like, what is liquid, what's good liquid, what's not.
But generally we want it to be that same experience that I had where I just knew HTML and CSS.
I opened up this file.
I read this product for product in collection dot products, product title.
And I'm like, okay, got it.
Like, I understand this thing here.
So that was the big, you know, a lot of internal work.
And it took a lot of buy-in from everybody because it's a huge amount of effort for zero product payoff.
