And so now we believe that we can, we can go and achieve the best of both worlds moving forward.
So.
I'm hinting a bit about where we're going with things, but I think that should be pretty obvious to anybody who's like reading the articles.
And there's a pretty clear direction to where we think that the world's headed for these types of tools.
I think the case we were in before was the average output
of people who weren't designers or developers wasn't very high.
And now you could ask, you know, an agent to say, make me a mediocre website and it'll be better than the average output before because it's like, okay, here's middle of the road.
And so you can start to craft things better.
Now, if you like run it amok and you say like, add this, and there's no guidance to that thing, I think it's really tricky.
And so the way we've been thinking about this is three things.
I said two in my talk, but it's really three.
There's like how the language itself and the tools that are available to it, this is sort of the main thing and what we've done with all of these changes to Liquid is like has to be able to write really expressive, elegant, clean code.
That's really beautiful.
And so that has to be, like, possible.
So the fact that we didn't have Boolean expressions before or the support for arrays or support for objects as a variable or support for, you know, infix operators so you can do, like, bed miss and stuff, you know, was problematic.
So that limited that.
So there's a whole, like, got to make liquid a really beautiful thing.
elegant templating languages that keeps to the principles that it's on.
And then there's, okay, but how do we make sure that the output looks like the thing that we want it to look like?
And that gets to two things.
