ARE WE GOING TO SHARE AS WE GO ALONG WHAT WE'RE LOOKING TO CUT SO PEOPLE KNOW WHAT WE'RE THINKING ABOUT?

I would hesitate to do that without having that full discussion with the city commission and identifying those opportunities for strategic reductions or cuts.

But that's something that we could certainly do maybe at the August meeting if if the commission saw fit and then we could

update our collateral to show, hey, these are the thoughts in terms of what could be cut if this gets approved.

I mean, I think it's worth thinking about.

I think it's worth maybe going through that as an exercise because we'll be dealing with the budget by September, right?

We'll be done.

But we'll certainly be having...

extensive conversations at the August meeting and then this will come before the voters in November so there is time to at least say you know this is how we're preparing at least let people know what it is we're going to be thinking about doing in terms of how we're going to cut and how that might impact services how that might impact quality of life issues how that might impact you know basically things that people take for granted at this point in time just

thinking about what we might do.

I agree 100%.

I would love the benefit of having the city hall discussion with the commission.

One of the elements that we intend to bring forward in that discussion is a budget approach as was requested.

And we've shared that we've been developing that.

So I think once we have some feedback on that, we can fine tune our approach as it relates to property tax reform.

Okay, good.

Because I think I'm already getting questions in terms of, well, what are the thoughts about cuts?

How is that going to impact our parks?
