My name is Ben Warning and joining me on the line, as always, Mr.
Ethan Way of the Deathbringer Sax.
Ethan, we've got we've got a cool cycle here that we're gonna get into a little bit from the upcoming set.
And you've got options.
You've got Way of the Cryomancer, Way of the Healer.

What are you?
Yeah, well, we should say what that is if we're gonna tease it here, which is the this whole set revolves around a mechanic called Empower Jace, which started as actually a mass Jace in in Wizards of the Coast testing, which is a lot of cards have Empower Jace stapled onto them with a number, whether that's two or four or seven, and you get to add loyalty counters equal to whatever that number is.
If you don't have a Jace, you cry.
Create one.
So it works just like a mass.
Mass four, if you don't have an army, you make an army, you put four tokens on it.
If you already have an army, you put four plus one plus one tokens on it.
With Empower Jace, if you don't have a Jace Planeswalker token, you create it, put two counters on it.
And then if you've already got one, you add however many loyalty counters the card says to add.
And then that Jace Planeswalker has two abilities, which is
Minus one surveil one and minus three draw a card.
So that's gonna mean planeswalkers on both sides of the battlefield very frequently that can only downtick, mind you, but has some very cool implications for one card evaluation and two gameplay.
It's just so refreshing to get something that we have like, well, we don't know exactly how this is gonna play out, and it's gonna be very interesting to talk about.
