What exactly is a microprocessor?

So if it's the brains of the computer, if you can make that microprocessor cheap, then you've got a hit.

Then you've got computers in households.

I love that that's an optional extra.

Wow, for a few K, how far we've come, but obviously revolutionary at the time.

So when these computers start entering the household, society, how do attitudes towards computers start to change?

How is their usage changing?

Like, for instance, are they already in schools and classrooms by this stage?

Why do you have that shrine there?

Why was it so important for this computer to shake things up in society?

So when computers become even more prolific around the early 1980s, there's a bit of a schism that emerges, right, between Apple and PC.
