When America, the indispensable ally for Israel and the greatest power in the world, and Israel, America's model ally, as the National Security Council called it, when we work together, amazing things happen.

This deal has two major concessions.

One, leaving Iran with a vast nuclear program.

And two, lifting the restrictions on that program in about a decade.

We're going to create the conditions first for the Iranian people

to get control of their destiny, to form their own democratically elected government, which will make Iran a different Iran altogether.

It has truly reached the record of all time, an alliance in peace and in war.

And this war will bring about true peace.

All right.

So assume that we we did have them at the table.

What in the world do you think it is that we could offer them to persuade them, to convince them, to scare them or whatever it is for Iran to step down on a nuclear weapon development?

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the goal of the joint U.S.-Israeli strikes is to quote, remove the existential threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran.

Netanyahu said in a video, our joint action will create the conditions for the brave Iranian people to take their destiny into their own hands.

President Trump addressed Iranians in a video saying, bombs will be dropping everywhere.

When we are finished, take over your government.

A person briefed on the operation told NPR it was expected to last a few days, with Israel's military focusing on targeting Iran's missile program.

Sirens are wailing in Israel, warning people to stay in shelters.

Now they're well into the second stage.

And by next spring at most by next summer at current enrichment rates, they will have finished the medium enrichment and move on to the final stage from there.
