And as a result of that, it has brought a large wave of unemployment to Iran.

then they can't produce fertilizers, which means that the farmers cannot produce as much food as they could before.
On top of that, you have the food industry losing access to steel and aluminium because of the attacks on the steel and aluminium factories, which means that they don't have any production to buy from the farmers.
So it's not just the urban areas that are impacted.
