Now, when you're a young person, you're like, retirement, I have no money to pay my bills.
But if you start a job and they have a 401k or you open a Roth IRA and one of those index funds we just talked about, that offers you tax-favored growth.
And those plans grow exponentially quickly.
It's like bad marketing.
It shouldn't be called retirement accounts.
They should be super smart investing accounts.
And that's on purpose.
It's so interesting because, again, doing this for so many years, banks, investment companies, I am convinced that the jargon, and they make it so complicated that you're like, well, I guess I need you to help manage my money.
And the fact is, you don't need to be a brain surgeon to do this.
It's so basic.
Just get out of debt, start to save, begin to invest.
And it really can make a difference in your life, even if you're facing tough times right now.
I do feel like these steps have helped people, and they will continue to help people.

And I think it's important to get over the hurdle of, I can't do this.
Right.
And, you know, I mean, I have a cousin.
