It is the cumulative and synergistic effect of living in the modern world.
So if you take a child who has many health stressors, they're going to have worse health outcomes.
And the children who have fewer health stressors are going to have just better health, generally speaking.
So it's a hypothesis that we knew going into the study we'd find an answer to.
And it's true.
There's just too many stressors on kids' health today.
So much of the symptoms we see in babies today that are common are not normal.
So that might be eczema, cradle cap, colic, GI distress, constipation is a major one.
That's a sign of something?
Yes, it's a sign of that your body is under sort of an excess total load of health stressors.
So it's not able to manage what is kind of like a fungal overgrowth on the scalp.
So that's true.
We actually are seeing fungal overgrowth in the GI.
We're seeing fungal overgrowth on the skin.
Eczema actually has a fungal component to it, too.
So these are all what we call the soft signs of I call it a compromised generation.
That's the name of my book from 2010.
It looks at all the things that are making our children's health compromised.
And so, you know, you've talked to grandmothers or great grandmothers and they'll be like babies weren't constipated.
They pooped at least every day.
