Tried a little bit of uh the reward punishment thing early on.
With my son.
Uh to devastating effects on both sides.
So rewarding a good behavior felt disgusting.
There was something like I wanna use the word prostitute or there there's something weird about it, like the power relationship that you hold.
Over someone to reward them.
And then we become self we become uh the opposite of self-motivated.
We become reward motivated.
We chase teaches us to chase external rewards and never inside ourselves have the basic reward and and you know the healthy pride of accomplishment and of doing things that just even of their own sake not getting a prize on the other side.
And then and then re and then the punishment is also devastating because
It's and they go hand in hand.
