Looking a bit better at set pieces and actually looking like you can score from set pieces.
Dan Happy getting a header the other day, which has been a long time since the Dons have had a centre-back that can go up and score a goal.
So a lot more positive.
It's obviously not going to be the finished article in one summer.
Steven Robertson has came out and said that but it's looking better you kind of have to take things with a pinch of salt as well having it been the pre-season you're against teams at a lower level than yourself so you're still thinking how is this team going to compete against the top league but we'll find out on Saturday I suppose I think on paper it's an obvious departure isn't it because Aberdeen were trying to look at doing their business a certain way and you look at some of the
I think it wasn't necessarily so much the appointment.
It was more the lengthy process and the mess that Aberdeen made with the appointment.

And I think now it's time for Aberdeen to find their identity again, get back to basics and just, you know, play the Scottish game, which a lot of the players that Jimmy Toline took in couldn't do last year.
this season I had been a little bit more pessimistic and was saying to people that fifth but now that I've seen the league cup stages and kind of seen what other teams are doing I'm being a bit more optimistic and putting us in at fourth and I think a player that's going to be really important for Aberdeen this year is Guinness Walker and Dan Happy I think that's two standouts for me this year
