It was like, I am embedded in New York.
I am a native New Yorker.
And I think it just shocked everyone.
But I also think it's because I'm a business person and a real estate person that people are like, wait, what's going on?
It was a little bit of an indicator also because I've become at this, you know, ripe old age, an influencer.
So it has had some influence.
A lot of people have reached out to me from all levels of CEOs and be like, oh my God, you started it, but I'm moving.
I'm like, this is crazy.
Am I now taking credit for people moving to New York?

If I had been still in New York City and the Hamptons, I'm not sure if I would have done it, because for a while, I was thinking, I just wasn't ready, and I don't know if I would connect here, even though I went to high school here, I have a past here.
I bought an apartment here last year, and I was really enjoying it, a condo.
And then, Connecticut was drowning me.
It was really soul crushing for me.
It wasn't where I was from, I didn't understand why I was there.
I was in a big, giant house on a compound, and it was kind of suffocating me.
It made me feel very lonely.
and slightly depressed.
So I justified it as in a couple years my daughter will be in college and like that's when maybe there'll be some version of a move.
But something happened in the meantime that I can't get into that was a little traumatic in our life and our household and I took the opening.
