uh it was my work mate uh long story short i have to drive well like 40k's to him from work he drives or probably about two minutes and i suggested to him in a conversation i says oh i'm going to ask if i can because of fuel prices i'm going to ask if i can go down to three days a week sure left it at that didn't think of anything of it and then the next thing i'm talking to my boss and he turns around to me and he goes oh yeah

Your work mate asked if he could go down to three days a week and we gave it to him.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So now I still have to drive 40km a day to and from work and work five days a week.

Yeah.

Nah, I haven't yet.

Wow.

So a couple of years ago I was cutting up some firewood off a massive macrocarpa in North Canterbury and one of the big logs off the side of the trunk snapped off and rolled onto my leg and pinned me down on the ground.

And my housemate luckily was there and he managed to grab the chainsaw, get it going and spent about 5-10 minutes cutting it up so he could move it off me, otherwise I was pinned.

Couldn't really get up, couldn't move, was trapped.

And yeah, if I was by myself, I probably would have been dead because no one knew where I was.

And I ended up having surgery on my knee and six months off work on ACC.

And yeah, I've got that, sweet as.

Not really.

I was screaming at him, giving him instructions.
