Yeah.
For sure.
I think if you're in this industry just to make money, then you're in this industry for the wrong reason.
You're probably not going to do very well because exactly like you're saying, it's about giving your time.
And that's also, you know, if you do want to think of it from more of a business perspective, that's still exposure.
You might not get something in the hands straight away at the time, but you might have someone that
wow but he's trained with me ever since now so he's trained me for 18 years now yeah but seven years like you know i would have given up on him like i'd never thought he would ever train with me but there you go um so it does happen yeah for sure we really have to it's about practicing our delayed gratification right like put in putting in the work now what's it saying something about the seeds you sow you know you they've
Don't see them straight away.
Something I'd have really butchered that.
But, you know, it's like you plant the seeds now and you let it water, you let things flourish.
And then, you know, you reap the rewards later on.
So, yeah, I think that's just the perfect example of how that can play out.
that's so cool and going back to what you were saying around the online space you know I think it goes kind of hand in hand with people who are just in it for how glamorous it sounds to be online you know working in Bali from their laptop making money it's just really again if that's the reason why you're doing this it's you're probably not going to be super successful it is hard work it's delayed gratification but
Like you say, if you're truly passionate and you truly care about your clients and yeah, you definitely reap the rewards on the other side of it.
It's a good reminder for people listening.
And then, so in terms of your journey, I'd love to know, has there been a mentor or even a resource or something that has really helped you in terms of your success or like influenced your journey over the years?
someone that you maybe looked up to or someone that's mentored you.
that's awesome some yeah good life experience it sounds and wisdom that she can pass on often when we think of mentors or role models or people that we sort of look to in business and in the industry and things like that it's actually often the you know sometimes the ones who aren't super into fitness and it's more around actually just like life life experience wisdom from from their lived experience as well so that's really beautiful
I love that.
So just before we kind of start to wrap up, what would be one piece of advice that you would give PTs who are just starting out or maybe a lesson that you've had to learn the hard way that you can pass on to them?
