No, I think that there's going to lead to all sorts of problems.
Part of this is that when you impose a tariff, other countries respond by imposing their own tariff.
You're going to make our goods more expensive.
We're going to make your goods more expensive.
So now all of that's thrown into chaos.
If you work for a company that exports goods to foreign countries,
Your stuff might be more expensive now and fewer people are buying them abroad because other countries have put tariffs on it.
Now we're going to see a whole nother round of that as these new tariffs come into place to replace the old ones.
So I think all of this is leading to less trade, less investment and fewer jobs.
And it's just one big chaotic outcome.
I mean, the thing is, you know, Congress could step up at any moment and pass a law that says you can't do tariffs.
They could just pass a law that says that.
And they won't because, you know, the Republicans in Congress, almost every single one of them just toe the line with Donald Trump.
And they're not going to do anything to hold him accountable.
So instead, we're stuck in this loop where that where Donald Trump and his administration do these outrageous things.
Sometimes, sometimes not.
The courts come in and stop them.
But then because of the way our laws work, there's usually some kind of backup plan or some other law that they can take advantage of, especially when, you know, on something like tariffs or on some of these ice rates, you know, where they this is a huge priority for them.
