Definitely the best game of footy I've ever witnessed.
And just, you know, the back and forth nature of it, the great finish and just
Just the way the crowd rose with it and just rode the wave as well.
It's one of those games, Jared, when I came back home, even though I had been there, I must have watched that last 40 seconds or so when Barry scores the goal and then
Cook scores the goal at least 15 times before I went to bed that night.
So what a great spectacle.
No, I think because I feel the people of Adelaide agree on most things Adelaide, otherwise Jared.
I mean, whether it's the fact that nobody takes us as seriously as they should, or the fact that we have the best over, the best wine, the best beers, and all of that included.
And it gets so concentrated, this one thing that the people of Adelaide disagree upon, which is the showdown.
I mean, twice every year.
I think just accentuates the whole, I think the tribalism that comes with any kind of sport, but especially footy, especially with the showdown.
I mean, you're right.
I mean, we've been at so many Ashes series.
I've been to so many India-Pakistan games over the years.
But this just feels, I mean, if you look at it, it's more like a household squabble, but it gets played out on the biggest stage in that sense.
And
You know, the people of Adelaide get to disagree upon something, but it's quite the disagreement.
And you feel it through the week, during the game, definitely, and post the game as well.
You know, I mean, obviously the umpires, depending on who you spoke to, got everything wrong.
Yes.
