We're coming off WrestleMania and it's all about narratives and it's all about stories starting and finishing.

And the fact that Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bangalore ended their drought last year.

And that in itself is a story because they're not the only team.

I mean, I spoke about Punjab earlier.

Ricky Ponting's team, they've never won an IPL.

They've been around forever.

from the beginning.

Delhi have been around from the beginning.

They've never won a title either.

But nobody talks about them not winning.

But because it was Virat Kohli's team, so Bangalore, every season started, at least the last 10 years started with the whole thing of, will this be Bangalore's year?

And that was one compelling narrative.

The other one was,

MS Dhoni and we've spoken about him on the show quite a bit about when will he retire.

But I guess with the Dhoni retirement, it feels like that narrative has overstayed its welcome.

The people are just going, you know what, when you go, we'll give you a send off.

We're not going to get excited about it anymore.

And now that Bangalore finished off their drought or ended their drought last year.

it feels like there's not much of a connect.
