So just being able to sit down during that time when I'm in a neck brace and put this thing together and be excited to construct something every day.
But...
I never felt alone during that process.
And I'm thankful for the company made sure I had no medical bills whatsoever.
I didn't have to doctor shop.
That was all taken care of.
Man, I think the world of Tavia Hartley, who used to work for WWE, but the way she went above and beyond to come to my house, I was living alone at the time, to take one of the guest rooms and just make sure I was able to get around.
Because even little things, when you have a neck, you have to be in this neck brace at all times.
Like sleeping, too.
Yeah, I had to sleep in the neck brace.
Even when I shower, I had to change immediately into a soft collar.
So to have someone to make sure that I could get around, that I had everything I needed just for a few days to make sure I was ready on my feet.
And then from there, Dr. Dugas at WWE.
I tell people, of all places you wanna break your neck as a WWE superstar, do it in Birmingham.
Because that's Dr. Dugas a few years prior, he repaired my meniscus.
He's someone I've known for a while, and he allowed me to hop on his private plane.
