The legend who pulled me aside.
And at the time, like, man, we were so fortunate that dusty ran creative every Wednesday in FCW, we would come down and he was the guy that was, you know, it was a smaller class.
There was probably like 40 of us too in this warehouse.
And we're cutting promos to Dusty, and he's giving us feedback.
But when NXT started, he was also the creative driver of the show.
He was writing the shows.
And it was kind of a bummer because I initially was not on the first set of NXT tapings.
I talk about me and Woods being the very first match ever.
We were on the pilot.
So there's a pilot that we shot that didn't air.
It was just to kind of see if this thing actually worked.
when we first started NXT, that incarnation of NXT, because it was the NXT beforehand, we're on the road, but this was the first, you know, PC or Orlando based NXT version.
And I missed the first
few months of shows.
But after that, you know, I started doing just some random squashes.
I think I only did one or two.
And then Dusty pulled me aside and said, we want to give you King Kong Bundy's old five count.
And man, that thing, I was supposed to be a heel and people were supposed to boo me.
But people just want to they want to interact.
They want to be involved.
