And I know we're gonna get into Jay a little bit later. But I also wanna just take a moment to, I was so bummed for Sami and that he didn't have a spot at WrestleMania. But what I love about Sami is he is one of the most earnest people you will ever meet in this industry. And it really just, it comes out so much on camera.
And look, we have so many larger than life characters and people with all different motives and whatnot. But I just love how when Sami speaks, and he speaks with passion, you feel it. And it's very easy, you see so many things in this industry, it's very easy to get jaded. But Sami still gives me that feeling of like, man, he makes you believe, that connection.

And he really was, for me, the MVP of the Bloodline for so long. The humor he brought, the change of pace he brought, he's incredible at what he does. And I think everyone is obviously very, very happy for Jay, but that Sami co-sign and the way he delivered it, it really solidified the whole, man, I love you, I'm proud of you. I got chills right now just thinking about that moment.

It was special, and I love when wrestling can deliver those heartfelt, real, genuine moments, because it can be a cliche about family and brotherhood, But for those guys, that brotherhood is real. And it also makes me think back to, so when I first met Jimmy in FCW in 2009, I remembered he would always say, okay, you think I'm good now? Wait for my brother, he's coming, he's coming.

Y'all ain't seen nothing yet. When my brother comes, it's gonna be a force. And those guys, look, they grew up in a wrestling family, obviously Rikishi and whatnot. But they were never just granted the keys to the kingdom. It was never, they're not silver spoon guys. You know, they came to FCW making $500 a week, you know, barely scraping things together to pay their bills.

And, and when Jay did finally get to FCW, those guys were off and running and they weren't there long. They were up to the main roster, making their debut very, very quickly with Tamina. Shout out to Tamina. She's a lovely human being.

For me, I think what makes it selfishly even more special is knowing the journey, the journey of what Jay's been through, the ups and downs. Obviously, those guys, when I was with the New Day, the battles that we had, we earned so much respect from those guys. We already had it. But just knowing that we all saw the business much the same.

We all had a similar perspective of what we want to do, what kind of legacy we want to leave. And it can be so hard to break out of, hey, you're a tag team guy, especially as twins. Like, we don't talk enough about that. When people, they just see you as a package. It's just you two.
