Randy, thanks for making some time for us today, man.
It's been a very difficult day, and especially if you're somebody like Hugh, you were born and raised here, you watched the Canucks throughout your entire life.
In many ways, John Garrett was the voice that you grew up watching hockey with, and now you do color on radio as well, so you follow in those footsteps in so many different ways.
This must be a day with a lot of difficult emotions.
Yeah, you know, it's such a great point about when you step into that gondola for the first time trying to work on a broadcast, whether it was doing the panel, you watch these people growing up, you see them on the broadcast, and it can be a little intimidating even if you've been in the industry, but you get a chance to kind of be part of the TV broadcast.
And, you know, there's this pressure that comes with that a little bit and you're kind of nervous about it.
You're like, man, you know, do I belong in this spot?
And then you get to meet these people.
