Let's put Cheech in the ring of honor.

A lot of people texting in about remembering Cheech more and doing something.

And we'll see what happens.

the first day where we're all talking about this we'll see what happens the team obviously set something out but he will be he will be remembered some way i would imagine and we'll see what happens here in the future moving forward but i would imagine there will be something that would happen at the arena somewhere that pays tribute to john garrett yeah certainly it's uh

The main show, that's the attraction, the game itself.

And sometimes when there's a lot of stuff going on, that can kind of become secondary in the thoughts of people in terms of how we go about doing the broadcast.

But I think in terms of how they went about it, how Cheech went about it, and how we all watch hockey for the game.

It's not just about the talking points, the trades, the intrigue, the drama and whatnot.

That's all secondary to the game itself.

And they always made the game the biggest...

made it shine on the biggest stage.

And that's, to me, a true talent regardless of what's happening.
