That doesn't mean you'd let anybody coach.

And I think that if you have a good coach, you should certainly try to get that.

But I'm not saying no to who I think the best player available at the draft is because of who I have in mind for my head coaching position.

And...

I don't think in any situation, unless you're a team that's on the verge of winning a cup and you have one of the best coaches, we should be choosing the coach over a foundational young piece that's going to be a top pick in the draft.

But I think it depends on the situation.

I think when you're picking high in the draft, like to me, there's no coach who's worth you bypassing the best talent in the top 10 of a draft.

But that's also relative.

I'm like the player, like the draft class.

Generally speaking, if you have a top 10 pick, like how many coaches are worth a top 10 pick?

But again, are you saying that you'd rather go with the good coach instead of rolling the dice with the top 10 picks?
