But it was a lot faster because a lot of the, you know, the leg work had been done, you know, tight splits or that was 83, 85, eight, whatever.
And so that's how, kind of how I learned it.

He was supposed to block him, but he, you know, he screwed it up.

And so, you know, putting the game into the, into the film that came in was, you know, incredibly, you know, helpful, but he was also there.
I mean, you know, he was an hour or 10, you know, whatever, an hour and 10 minutes before the game.
timing the snappers, timing the punters, hang times, you know, seeing who handled the punt, who were the punt returners, who were the kickoff returners, who was a long snapper, you know, charting all the punters, punts and everything, even in pregame warmups.
I mean, it was a full, it was a full evaluation of that team.
He wasn't a personnel scout.
He wasn't there to scout players like, oh, this guy's a good center.
This guy's a good tight end.
Like that's not what he really was doing.
He was looking at what the team's plays and strategies were.
And, and other things that you can, you know, pick up as well based on,
Sometimes things on the sideline, you see the head coach talking to maybe somebody and it's a fake punt or stuff like that.
I mean, there's a lot of little nuances that he really had an eye for that I learned along the way.
Well, my dad was gone every weekend.
Right.
He never stayed at the Navy games.
