The Air Force says a B fifty two was performing a flyover at the North Dakota State Fair in Minut on Friday, but around the same time a Skywest Delta Connection flight from Minneapolis was looking to land at the airport close by.
The Skywest pilot told his passengers he had no warning a B-52 was in the area until he saw it converging on his course, which he abruptly changed.
A passenger recorded him apologizing.
The Minut airport doesn't have radar, the pilot said.
