80-year-old Ed Markey first went to Congress in 1976.

Uh he pitched himself as the progressive candidate in that Senate race.

Uh and he beat out handily uh Representative Seth Moulton, a 47-year-old uh ex-Marine.

Uh, but you know, it it also shows that this has been a strange election.

Less than two hours to go before that deadline hit last night when fifty percent tariffs were gonna go onto billions of dollars of Canadian goods.

We're talking about uh beer, milk, lumber, uh hockey equipment, things like that.

He has never really, really gotten over the defeat in Georgia in 2020.

But I do think Iran has to be high on that agenda just for national security reasons and for the election itself.
