So I kind of get the feeling, my thoughts only, maybe she's the driving force for him to continue playing.

And I've read a bunch of great athletes in the past, they say, once you consider it, it's time to hang it up.
Yeah, when they can't get ready for the grind, it's not the game itself, it's the grind of preparing for the game, preparing for the season, and the bumps and bruises that go along with it, whatever sport it is.
When you can't get up for that every single day through the offseason, that's when it starts to take its toll.
But if there's enough financial incentive... Which he doesn't need at this point.
