We've been hanging out for about twenty five years now and uh just to back yeah, he does take my name in vain a lot.

But there is no commandment against using Bill High, so

Anyhow, uh he he sometimes uh he didn't tell this one yesterday, but he says, you know

Well, we've known each other for twenty years, but we've been friends for three

But you know, it wasn't actually David who brought me into the family, it was his oldest son.

His oldest son brought me into the family and he brought me in because the family was actually at a point of transition.

And at that point of transition they are having grandkids get married.

They had in-laws coming in, in-laws who felt like outlaws.

Some of you guys understand that transition.

And he says, we're not doing this very well.

Who can help us?

And I'm like, and he says, and I don't want a lawyer for sure.

I don't want an accountant.

I don't want a financial guy.

I want somebody who will just be there to help our family be successful into the next generation and beyond.

I'm like, man, I do not know who that is.

I I know a lot of people but I don't know who that is who can help your family succeed from one generation to the next.

I called around and I found a psychologist.

And and he'd worked with a notable family so I s said, Okay, go in and work with the family.

They they worked okay for a little bit, but then they brought in a financial guy.
