And so I came in, I started working with family and that took place over the next two, three years where we put together, so you saw it yesterday, this family vision, mission, and value statement.
So I know a number of you wanted to come up and take a picture of it.

We don't hand this out, but this is one of the beginning pieces of structure for a family to make it generationally.
There's research out there.
There's research that tells us there's a guy named James Hughes who wrote a book called The Family Wealth, not a
Christian believer.
He's actually more of an Eastern mystic kind of guy.
And he says, Can a family's wealth last a hundred years?
And when he defines wealth, it's not just money, he says, Can your wealth last a hundred years all across this room?
Can your wealth last a hundred years?
And the answer was surprising when I read his book and he says a family's wealth can last a hundred years if
They articulate a clear vision, mission, and value statement.
And the next generation adopts it and says, It's ours, and they communicate it to the next generation.
And I'm reading that book, I'm thinking, gosh, this is a biblical idea, isn't it, Bill?
