Um let me put it this way.
Oh, I I remember my my late wife, um I'd be sitting in the in our TV room watching the Warriors play basketball or something, you know, or a hunting show or something godly.
Oh.
And I'd be sitting there watching the the the T V show and and Benny would get up, she'd say, Hey, you want something to eat?
And I'm sitting in a recliner that has massage features to it.
It's a gift f of God to have a chair of this nature.
And uh so it's massaging me and Benny says, Would you like something?
I go, Yeah, I'm starving.
She goes in and gets some food and brings it to me and we'll sit there together and and uh enjoy the whatever we're watching.
I was starving enough to eat what she brought to me, but not enough to go in the kitchen to get it myself.
And a lot of people hear God that way.
If it's brought to them
They celebrate it.
But they're not hungry enough to pursue.
And there's something about the hunger to pursue, it causes us to
To lean in.
And here's here's the problem: is that that many of us are so self-conscious of how we appear to others.
That we don't want to be thought of as gullible or foolish.
or extreme in an unhealthy way.
And yet there's something about the hunger for his voice that automatically puts me in a place where I have to be willing to be thought of as gullible and foolish.
