Um, so that was kind of a little different, different twist on it.
Yeah, kind of looking at it from a cost of ownership and not even getting into the technical side, liquid cooling is tremendously efficient compared to air cooling.
and um you know i the way i see it is right now we're talking about ai and super computing i have to believe that in some i don't know what period is five years ten years you're gonna see more and more kind of you know typical enterprise servers also being liquid cooled because um you know like you said that they they that that starts to push the boundaries you know how dense can we make
the data hall without having to go buy a new one or build a new one, you know, performance and water or liquid is such a much better performance in terms of like heat capacity in the realm of like an equipment failure, how much time we're going to have to get the fans or the chillers back online.
So there's a lot of different advantages to it than just kind of the pure kind of AI look at it.
Well, that's, you know, England gave us that promise back 250 years ago or whatever.
seriously well you actually hit on another point that is is important is kind of defining like performance you know not from just like the you know the equipment or the mechanical systems but how do we kind of loop in like the rest of the world you know i mean you know the united states is good and all that stuff but there are other countries out there that are probably doing the same thing and and kind of
understanding that you know generally speaking European Northern European different part you know even you know Asia Pacific they have this is generalizing kind of a more focused on the environmental aspect of it so instead of like when we're going where one of our clients is going to get power there's very few discussions on Peewee it's something different than that
However, there are utilities or grid operators in the states that are, you know, kind of mandating a maximum PUE.
So kind of enveloping PUE, it's all the other water, carbon, you know, different aspects of that.
I think that's going to start coming more often.
And, you know, most of any large corporations in the AI business are global.
So you will start to see in some aspects, you'll start to see that not from a regulatory, but actually from the end user to say, hey.
Yeah, and I think a good example of that is water use.
Kind of right now in pretty much every media or every conversation, this water use, we're going to kind of drain the aquifers and we're not going to have any.
People are nervous about this, honestly.
And so what that's done, I think, is sped up the whole concept of
you know, calculating or estimating what actual water consumption.
I mean, most of the hyperscalers are using air cooled products, so it's like close to zero.
But I guess my example is that's a WUI.
