We are liable for the things that we say and it is really important that we abide by those rules when it comes to the criminal justice system because if you don't, you can in really extreme circumstances jeopardise that system.

And that's one of the cases where I have seen, um, criticism of media outlets who have described this 17 year old girl as being quote unquote in a relationship with the 34 year old man.

But of course, we acknowledge the complexities and sensitivities of describing a 17-year-old girl as being in a relationship with a 34-year-old man as being in a relationship.

Bringing up again that we've gone through just four cases there of alleged murder against women and girls in this country.
But as you said earlier, there have allegedly been 54 women and girls who have been killed so far in 2026.
