This is not a winning issue.
It's barely even a winning issue amongst Republicans in Miami-Dade County.
That was a very surprising poll to see, honestly.
Well, it certainly doesn't feel kosher.
Like, I don't know if it's legal or not.
And there's certainly going to be legal challenges that are working their way through the courts now.
But it's just like if you want to sell them the property, sell them the property at fair market value or put it on the market and find out what that value is.
But when you're you're kind of staking the future of this very important, it's one of the largest colleges, I think, by student body in the entire country.
So this is a very important institution to the country, to this community.
And they don't have a lot of room for growth.
And to give away a piece of property like this, I just think is, again, sell it.
That's fine.
Build the endowment of the school, pack some money into the institution that you could help to grow it and help support the students and the faculty.
But to give it away, you know, and that's the thing, too, like I like the fact that it would share a lot with the Freedom Tower.
Again, I don't have a problem fundamentally with any of that.
To me, it's just the fact that everything in Miami is a real estate hustle.
Symbolically, I think it's hilarious.
I just think it's hilarious.
Why not?
I mean, it's the Ellis Island of the South, and the view of it is going to be a celebration of the deporter-in-chief.
