When you're in a cutthroat career, you're so hyper-focused on what's happening right now and what your next challenge is or the thing you want to achieve.
And you kind of forget about your history.
And what I forgot is that
I've been struggling, you know, the same challenges I have now, interestingly enough, on a bigger scale are the challenges I always had.
And that I've gotten over.
Because when something disappointing happens or when something hard happens, you think, fuck, like, you feel like you've never been through it before.
Because like emotionally, you're like, how am I going to get over this?
You know, something doesn't go the way you planned.
But then you look back at your life.
This was amazing because I'm not a person who sits and talks about my, thinks about my childhood a lot.
I have a therapist, but like every actor, I don't talk to my therapist about my parents.
I talk to them about my agent.
Yeah.
You know, I'm focused on like what's happening like right now.
I know my parents were great.
We don't have to talk about that.
But when you go back and think about it, I saw, it's amazing.
Like challenges I had in second grade, right?
Kind of with the powers that be, you know, I always wanted to achieve and I wanted to be like an A-list student, an A-list student.
An A-student.
