but i see a lot of backlash when people don't just bend the knee to the old documents the old constitution all these things that were written at it why do you think that is um because they're protecting their own uh well do you think it could be something else like for example like i don't know like my grandfather being killed uh
And I think that's the hard part is it's both sides. You're not wrong. Neither is John Doe who's, you know, or my ancestors who were killed because we're not wrong. I just think we're here. And I'm just a fan of everybody kind of understanding everybody's perspective. Like I would hope that the comment here is, I think this is a healthy conversation. Both sides had really good perspectives.

There needs to be acknowledgement of why.

When one side is just saying one thing, that's where the labels come. That's where people go, oh, DJ is racist or he's being an Uncle Tom, is because you just got to say both sides.
Because then if you can say both sides, then you go, he's right, there is accountability. Just like if you're sitting two people down and if you only say the one thing, oh boy, does, this person is going to feel the type of way. So I think it's just continue the conversation like we're having here.

Well, I think as leaders, it's a good conversation to have. I think it's like if someone took away just one additional perspective on all sides, cool. I think that helps, right?

Yeah, I think the best thing that anybody can do if you are experiencing any kind of racism, prejudice, whatever, is just move on and get rich. to get really successful. And then make the change that you wanna see. Cause like, you know what I don't like is there's this old saying that you guys see every single election year and it's this, it's vote. Everybody says, get out and vote.
The truth is, fucking run. You really want change, run. The only, you know, it's like the conversation is vote and then they give you orange juice or apple juice.
