And that's what the Democratic Party is doing.

And the reason that they're able to do that, the reason that that door is open is because once the Republican Party decided that all that mattered was Trump, that the fealty and the loyalty was to him,

and not to a party.

Once they decided they didn't even want to have a party platform anymore, it was just whatever Trump wants, that's what we're doing.

And whatever his whim of the day is, that's what we're going to go out there and preach.

Well, then you actually have no belief system anymore.

You have no ethos as a party anymore.

It's all just a cipher.

And into that void, since we know that nature abhors a vacuum, into that void snaps the Democratic Party.

And all of a sudden, the Democratic Party is talking about values that we had once had surrendered to the Republican Party.

I don't know how many times the word freedom was used at the DNC, but I'll bet it was- I want to talk to you about that.

No, you're not.

The thing about what the Democrats are doing, it's not just that it's smart.

It's that it's truthful.

It's where Democrats actually are collectively as a party and individually as candidates.

But let me give an example.

When we talk about the environment, OK, it used to be that the Republicans radical right was able to paint the Democrats as crazy on the environment.
