When masks and vaccines stopped being a health issue and started being a freedom issue, it all of a sudden got very, very strange.

Americans don't like to have their freedoms taken away.

It's why reproductive rights are such a huge issue for Democrats, because it is a freedom taken away by Republicans.

And of course, that means something to independent voters, because independent voters are suspicious of both parties.

But independent voters for a long time believed

I believe by 22 percentage points that Democrats were more likely to restrict their freedoms than Republicans were.

That's no longer close to true.

It's not close to true because the Republican Party all of a sudden is the party that's taking away everybody's freedom.

And by the way, I just want to throw one other set of numbers at you just because I happened to learn it today about the favorability ratings.

In swing states among Latino voters,

It used to be Biden and Trump dead even.

It's now Harris at 55, Trump at 36 in terms of the polls.

And in terms of favorability, Trump is underwater.

He's minus four with Latinos in those battleground states.

And Kamala Harris is plus 14.

Every number is going in the right direction.

That guy is dead in the water.

Do they know?

Are they panicking or are they just, you know...

I wouldn't presume to tell you what's going on inside that campaign.
