Halsey is definitely one of the more skilled guys in the league, in my opinion.

Yeah, I mean, I don't know if it was always as intense as it is now playing in the NHL, but I always tried to get under a guy's skin, not really with chirping, but just kind of like with, I don't know, fork checking or anything like that, just the little things that can piss guys off a little bit.

Obviously, I was a fourth round pick, so I wasn't, you know, supposed to really make the team my first year after signing.

So I just, you know, made a decision to I'm just going to play as hard as I can.

And that's kind of where I got that from, honestly.

In college, I did it a little bit, but not as much as I do it now.

I mean, he's been a big help.

Obviously, he's taught me pretty much everything I know in the game.

But yeah, I mean, I remember having a conversation with him during camp last year, and he just said, give them a reason not to send you down or whatever like that.

And I just stuck with it.
