There is a lot of goodwill in this thing, but there's obviously also a lot of people who've latched on.
Think of all the people who got sacked.

There's a lot of industries that have built up their brand.
I mean, Tesla arguably got a third of their income from these requirements, the CAFE standards in the US requiring low emission cars.
So basically they sold those rights to all the other car producers.
