Never excelled really at anything, was never dreadful at anything either, just kind of a plain sailor.
Used to always kind of be, people would always say, if Flannad was any more laid back, she'd be horizontal.
That's kind of me.
But yeah, kind of enjoyed all the kind of normal things, going out, you know, bit of sport, big into my horses always.

No, I wanted to be a nurse or a social worker.
And everyone always said I was too soft.
I'd never last.
It's too sensitive.
And then...
But I do think like when I look back now, I was one of those who was like when I was on my school holidays, I was making worksheets for my toys or, you know, that kind of thing.
I was always bossy, basically.
So I think the teacher is in me.
You know, but no, wanted to be a nurse or a social worker and then kind of fell into the teaching as a second, second plan.
Yeah, went to college in Limerick, down in Mary Eye.
Hated it.
Went to, like, a really small secondary school, Wilson's, in, you know, the Enoch Burke School.
That's where I went.
