If Trump is saying, no, no, no, no, no, I'm going to back Paramount's deal, they're going to back out.
And then immediately, as soon as Paramount's deal is accepted, and then they're like, hey, Netflix, you want to give us more money?
Netflix immediately says, no, we're good.
We're not going to put any more money into it.
And this comes literally of weeks and weeks and weeks of Netflix going on media, showing their entire ass pretty much to everybody and saying, no, no, no, Warner Brothers, we want Warner Brothers.
We want this product.
We believe in this.
We are the right person.
We will fight for this thing.
And then they're like, nope, we're not doing this anymore.
So...
What I'm saying, I say all that to give the context to say this is very clearly the Trump administration looking at this deal.
And after saying and lying to the public and saying, oh, no, we're not going to get involved, getting involved and saying, no, no, we're going to fight against you, Netflix, if you start to go in this direction and if you try to go for this.
So we're just going to then they backed off.
And this is what happened.
All that to say, I am not one of these people that believes that Netflix buying out Warner Brothers was remotely good for any industry.
It would have been horrible.
These are both horrible options.
Paramount's is incredibly bad for the political side of things, especially when you see what Barry Weiss over there, who is now the head of CBS News...
