I reckon he just had himself convinced that he was in the clear.

And I think it wasn't until he was arrested and charged and it wasn't until after all of that was done that the guards then came to me and told me

what he had been charged with.

But then once he was charged, he was out on bail again.

So like he was out the whole time for the five years.

Yeah, and you genuinely have no idea.
