And um what they've sort of done is rather than have a lot of uh mini side sub-stories about the kids, which in the original are not voice acted, and you gotta tab through a whole bunch of dialogue boxes.
There's instead like this whole mini game, and for Yakuza players, you'll understand like
Like helping the kids with their homework.
You have to help kids with their homework.
and and helped them do sewing projects.
and play catch the bugs and rev drag and reversey with them and shit like that.
And you build up a reputation meter, kind of like drink links.
Once you max out your reputation, you get like a side story that usually involves doing something nice for them and, you know, s having to fight somebody.
Often having to punch an adult who's being a dickhead to the kid or something like that.
And um
That's uh I I th I think that's up to you whether or not you think like
That was a better replacement for the more deeper story.
I haven't played the original three that people like, so I can't really speak to whether or not
It loses some impact, I will say as
Someone who's played a lot of Yakuza and doesn't mind going through three in a more quicker, briefer form, it's not really a problem.
You know, I'm enjoying the game.
It's not an issue, you know.
Um had I played three originally and then played this one, maybe I too would be like, Yeah, this is a bit of a disappointment, you know, it's a bit of a cash crab.
