There were schooners dating back to the last century and still carrying sails.

There were power boats in all shapes and sizes, from 18-foot outboards to 80-foot diesel jobs.

All of them used for only one thing, fishing the banks far out in the Atlantic with seines and trawls and trot lines.

I walked on over to Meg's palace, wondering how much the old gal had changed since I saw her last.
