Their yearly park passes, just for the county parks, is over $120 a year.
Wow.
And we pay nothing.
And the state parks pass down there are approaching like $200 a year for a statewide parks pass.
So when we talk about our county parks don't cost us anything.
Our city parks, for entrance, obviously you pay for other things, programming, camping and stuff.
And our state parks cost you $29.
Think of how good of a deal that is.
If I'm in Maricopa County and I go to another county, I have to pay their fees because all the counties down there charge some kind of fee.
And they're taxpayer supported, which CPW here is not even taxpayer supported.
It's strictly supported by fees and the pass and stuff like that.
Great idea.
One of the best things I've ever seen come out of the state.
And sometimes I question some of the things that come out of the state, but that was a great thing.
