It was going to become the submarine.
The underwater.
Yeah, that wasn't going to work.
Well, when people had nowhere to go, they went outside.
Because that was a safe space.
You could go outside.
And the parks got busy.
And it also pointed out some deficiencies in our parks.
But we had never seen anything like that.
They were doing fine with facilities up until that happened.
But it also gave us some tools for planning.
Like, you know, we need a little more of this.
And we need a little more of that.
And we need to have some contingency plans.
But the parks were where people came.
And I think that in the long term...
What's happened was a lot of people who weren't regular visitors to parks and trails became regular visitors to parks and trails.
And I think that even though, you know, things have wound down, the pandemic's behind us, they still realize now, hey, that's where I went when I couldn't go anywhere else, when I couldn't go to the theater, when I couldn't go to the mall, when I couldn't go to the health club.
They couldn't go to a spa because you're next to everybody who's sweating and breathing.
Right.
